Dear Friend,

Last week, our community stepped up in a big way. In just 48 hours, we found homes for 40 animals through adoptions and placed 138 animals in emergency foster homes.

Although our public programs are currently suspended, we remain here every day to help our community’s companion animals and the people who love them. We are still taking in animals that have nowhere else to go. We are providing free dog and cat food to pet owners who have lost their jobs. And, of course, the animals in our facility are getting superb veterinary care for ailments both small and large.

So many of you are asking how you can help. Without the income from our public programs, we are most in need of monetary donations.

Your gift helps us help animals who come to our door in need. Animals like the bully bunch.

Eight dogs, including a very pregnant female, came into our care as part of an animal cruelty investigation. All had a host of medical conditions, including four who needed surgery just to be able to breathe. And, within one week, eight became twelve as momma Lucy underwent an emergency C-section and delivered several adorable pups. All are now in loving homes and will never know suffering again.

Because of you, we were able to say YES to giving more than shelter to these sweet animals and the thousands of others who come to us every year.
